Flashpoint 6 - Prisons and Crime

Flashpoint 6 - Prisons and Crime from Alfred Snider on Vimeo.

A discussion of the role of prisons in the criminal justice system, whether it meets its objectives and alternatives to prison. The panelists are Alfred Snider, Maxwell Schnurer and Lisa Heller (now Boragine)..

This is a "classic" edition of Flashpoint, circa 1992. It has a more rustic look and one panelist looks younger. Technical values have improved since then, but the discussion is still quite robust.

Flashpoint is a program of the Lawrence Debate Union
at the University of Vermont

Flashpoint programs for download can be found at the archive and the filenames all start with the episode number followed by the topic.
